Dr. M.V. Reddy currently working as a Senior Researcher, Institute of Research Hydro-Québec, Centre of Excellence in Transportation Electrification and Energy Storage, Hydro-Québec, Canada. Previously (July 2003 to May 2019) he worked at National University of Singapore (NUS) (QS Ranking no12, No 1 in Asia), at the Department of Physics, Materials Science and Engineering and Graphene Research Center, Chemistry, Singapore, he has been working on the nano/submicron sized materials (metal oxides, nitrides, graphene, graphite, carbon and metal oxide composites) for Energy (cathodes, anodes, supercapacitors and solid electrolytes), solar cells, sensors, electrocatalysis and photocatalysis, including novel methods of synthesis ex: Molten salt method (top1 publication list (source: scopus), characterization and evaluation of the electrochemical properties. For the last 20 years, I had been working on the materials synthesis, characterization, and evaluation of functional properties. He has published around 200 papers in various international journals and conducted several workshops related to functional materials and Energy storage and delivered 100 invited talks in over the world at various conferences and conducted few academic workshops on Battery materials and Materials Synthesis and characterization techniques. He also given popular science and Engineering outreach talks to college and high school students all over the world. His h-index; 63 and over 14950 citations. Recently cited top 2% highly cited researcher in area of Energy (my Ranking 1002 out of 186500 researchers) (year 2020). Recently Jan 2021, Dr. Reddy won prestigious Indian Electrochemical society award 2021 (Prof. SMM award) for his outstanding contribution to electrochemistry of Battery materials. I am very much interested to serve the community, during weekends (free time), I serving as editorial advisory board member in “Materials Research Bulletin”, Journal of Energy Storage and other open access Journals (Materials, Energies and Molecules, MDPI) and Regional editor Nanoscience & Nanotechnology-ASIA (Bentham Science).
